?What time is pickup and where is the drop-off?
Pickup starts at 4:00 AM, at the point we agree on within a 4 km radius of the Ángel de la Independencia (your hotel or Airbnb). The return is exclusively to the Ángel de la Independencia — we do not drop off at hotels. If the Ángel is closed due to a march or traffic, the alternate drop-off point is the Monumento a la Revolución.
?Is it safe? What if I’m afraid of heights?
We fly certified balloons, AFAC-licensed captains with 1,000+ flights each, and traveler insurance. The basket is stable: 9 out of 10 first-timers with a fear of heights report feeling calm. If wind makes it unsafe, we reschedule your flight at no extra cost.
?What happens if the weather doesn’t allow us to fly?
With rain or winds over 20 km/h the flight is cancelled for safety and rescheduled for the date you choose — you have 3 months to use it. If you booked ground transport, that service is charged in full.
?Can kids / pregnant women / older adults fly?
From age 4 or 1.10 m tall, and every minor flies accompanied by an adult — carrying a child during the flight is not allowed. Minors pay the full rate because they take a complete spot in the basket. Cannot fly: pregnant guests, anyone who drank alcohol in the previous 12 hours, and people with blood pressure problems, heart or respiratory conditions, recent surgery, or spine or knee problems. Maximum weight per passenger: 99 kg.
?How long is the flight?
The flight itself is 45-60 min. The whole experience (transport + briefing + flight + toast + breakfast) is 4-8 hours depending on the package.
?Can I choose the pilot or balloon?
Not directly — we assign by availability. If you have a preference (language, special occasion) let us know when booking and we’ll do our best.
